How to Measure a Roof Drain: Sump Bowl

A sump bowl is the bowl-shaped area of the roof drain designed to collect excess water and guide it toward the drain outlet.

Measuring a sump bowl is very straightforward. Simply, place your tape measure on one side of the sump bowl, and then measure 180° straight across to the opposite edge.
